A Holistic Approach to Yoga

My journey into teaching yoga grew from a longstanding desire to understand the deeper purpose of the practice. Although yoga had been an important part of my life for many years, I wanted to explore its traditional roots and the wisdom that sits beyond the physical postures.

This led me to undertake my teacher training at the internationally renowned Mandala Ashram in Wales, where I immersed myself in the study and practice of authentic yoga, Advaita Vedānta and Tantra. The peaceful surroundings and traditional approach provided the ideal environment to deepen both my understanding and personal practice. I completed my training in 2022, but in many ways, it marked the beginning of an ongoing journey of learning.

The yoga I share is rooted in the understanding that yoga is far more than movement alone. It is a way of cultivating balance, clarity and a deeper relationship with ourselves. Breath awareness, mindful movement, deep relaxation and meditation are woven together to create practices that support both body and mind.

My classes are gentle, welcoming and accessible to all, regardless of age or experience. Rather than striving to achieve perfect postures, the invitation is to practise with awareness, curiosity and kindness, discovering that yoga offers tools not only for the mat, but for everyday life.

It is a privilege to share these teachings and to accompany others as they explore their own unique path. My hope is that each class offers a space to slow down, reconnect and experience something of the steadiness and ease that yoga has to offer.
